DOT AND DASH JUNIOR B STUDENT’S BOOK

The lesson structure of Dot and Dash Junior B is straightforward and consistent. Emphasis is given to pupils’ listening, speaking and writing skills.

The Student’s Coursebook is made up of 30 core lessons. The syllabus has the following structure:

a revision lesson at the beginning of the book, revising the alphabet, colours, numbers, days, -s/-es plurals and prepositions of place
30 theme-based lessons, introducing grammar and thematically-linked vocabulary and giving reading, listening, speaking and writing practice
6 Revision sections, one after every five lessons
3 children’s stories
3 cross-curricular sections
a page presenting adjectives and a page with cartoons promoting environmental awareness
